| IMPORTANT NOTE - TEMPLE CALANDER FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2026 The Government of Alberta has adopted permanent Alberta Time ABT (previously know as Mountain Daylight Time or MDT in Alberta). On November 1, 2026, clocks will no longer reset to Mountain Standard Time and will remain on Alberta Time year-round. Maha Ganapathy Temple Calendar for 2026 was prepared in 2025 considering the daylight savings time would end on October 31, 2026. With the clocks not changing on November 1st, the following changes to the temple calendar are to be noted for November and December. The Times indicated in the daily calendar boxes for Tithi, Nakshadhram, Yogam and Ragu Kalam need to be adjusted to the new ABT for November and December (Example: November 1 Ragu Kalam 3:49 PM – 5:00 PM will change to Ragu Kalam 4:49 PM – 6:00 PM).
The Special day pooja times would remain the same (Example: Chaturthi Pooja 7:00 PM would still take place at 7:00 PM). |
|
IMPORTANT SAFETY ALERT! There have been reports of DISTRACTION THEFTS across the city, especially in temple entrances & parking areas. Be vigilant if approached suddenly by strangers and do not let them into your personal space or let them touch or hug you. |
