The Vinayagar Shasthi Viratham is observed for 21 days to seek blessings of Lord Ganesha. Throughout the 21 days, special prayers will be conducted to Lord Ganesha and typically followed by recital of Ganesha Puranam (Pillaiyar Kathai). At this temple special pooja is performed each evening at the Moolasthanam (Main Shrine) during this Vratham days. An Ashdodhranama Archanai is performed during the evening Moolasthanam pooja. Devotees who would like to include their names included in this should purchase the ticket from the office prior to the beginning of the Moolasthanam pooja.
